  • Key Details: 3D Game Engine

  • Description: Our main project for the class was to write a 3d Game Engine in DirectX 10.

  • Extended Explanation: Our engines contained code for: displaying an animated sprite, processing game scripting, and basic rendering of a 3d object. It also contained handlers for shaders, effects, textures, meshes, user input, and audio.

  • Programming Process and Methods: Created over a period of 5 weeks from scratch in C++ with DirectX 10 using the Visual Studio 2010 IDE (Ultimate Edition) for my GAM420O (“Game Engine Development”) Final Project in March 2012.
